Want to contribute to the next two Rise of Aester books?

What is Rise of Aester? [link]

Some of you may know that there is a world guide and tabletop book for Rise of Aester in progress. If you or someone you know would like to contribute some artistic efforts our way, the help would be most appreciated! At this time, we unfortunately can't offer monetary compensation, but it is in discussion as a possibility (we are all currently working pro-bono, so please don't feel like we're holding out).

What am I looking for? 2-D artists who work in a realistic style, particularly styles emulating historical illustrations. They can be as simple as modern illustrations found in nature books or as complex as Audubon, Gould, Crispin Van de Pass (Yes, that's a real name. reference Garden of Flowers.

Final pieces will likely be in black and white so drawings either need to start that way or be created in a way they can be successfully converted to black and white.

Subject matter for now: flora and fauna, architectural drawings, street views, historically inspired vehicles. I will update this if we find we need to cover other subjects.

Assignments of projects will be made based on demonstrated ability from your portfolio and will be assigned when we have a better idea of what we will need. There will be a fair amount as we are replacing all the images from the LARP book.

If you (or someone you know) think you're up to the task and are willing to keep in close communication as our projects progress, please send me attachments or links of 5-10 samples of your work and if you like, a short bio about yourself.
